  1. It feels obvious and lazy. Like Ken Hite getting pulled in for some Cthulhu writing. Like, he’s been around forever but doesn’t strike me as especially scholarly in a Stafford kind of way, or innovative in any kind of design way. Safe choice, he can hit deadlines and word counts.

  3. Paul Beakley Yup. I know that he’s the designer of Heroquest and has been involved with Glorantha for a while, but I also know that (or feel like) he pretty much just fills up any job he takes with Hamlet’s Hit Points b.s.

    These are seminal RQ supplements. I’m just afraid he’ll do nothing more than re-write them with his amateur novel-writing advice baked in.

    Dang. I never thought I’d be this dismissive of Laws.
