It was fun; Mel White and I played it twice, once with Jeffrey Collyer (for whom it represented everything he hated about RPGs, if I understood his point correctly) and John Farish, and once with David John Petroski and his son Xander. The most fun came from collaboratively creating the tactical scenes that we’d then work through using TFT Wizard rules, using d6 rolls on tables we constructed to specify what was going on. It was our alternative method to scenario design, our version of TFT’s “In the Labyrinth” (basically, its setting and campaign rules).
