My son went to a Montessori school in Missouri around 1998-1999 that was run as a granola, hippie indoctrination center. It was wonderful. We moved to New Jersey and popped him into the nearby Montessori which was a toddler prep-school. We never fit in, they never liked us and we never liked them. It was amazing how different the two institutions were.
Yeah, I think maybe the issue is that some Montessori schools are certified by the American Montessori International, and some are just trained in the method, but not certified. And, of course, different schools are different.
Me three.
Also wow, such great penmanship!

Our local Montessori operations tend to be 1%er boot camps.
