My son loves tools. I bought a new 77-piece tool set — small tools for computer or smartphone repair — and was letting him handle the safe ones.
/me hands my son a tool that looks kind of like an elongated butterknife.
Son: “What’s this?”
Me: “It’s a spudger.”
Son: “Ooo! What can we spudge?”
Best kid ever.
Data point: my son has called a screwdriver a “screwer” before. I have to assume that, for him, a hammer is something used to ham things.
Which all makes total sense, really.
Kid logic = 100% makes sense.
In model building we call that a “parts opener”.
“Spudger is a cu better word!
Heh, I like screwer. My kid used to call what he did with a broom “brooming” – “I’m gonna broom the kitchen”
Aaron Griffin AND THAT MAKES TOTAL SENSE. I mean, it’s not called a “sweeper,” right?
