#RPGaDay2017 What published RPG do you wish you were playing right now?
The Champions 3rd edition game I’m supposed to do with MadJay Brown, but various family commitments — and my own ineptitude — have kept me from completing my character build.
It’s been so long since I’ve had to make a character in Champions that my skillz are way rusty. Thankfully, the editions are all so similar that I can make use of resources from all eras, including good ol’ state-of-the-Java app Hero Designer.
Runner-up would be GURPS Supers, as Ron Edwards has been blogging about it, and I’m always pondering the horror of GURPS.
(Heck, the Champions 3rd ed. game is basically Ron’s fault, too.)
We played the shit out of that game back in the day. In order to establish my bona fides, I will try to list a character’s stats from memory:
Str, Dex, Con, Bdy, Int, Pre, Ego, PD, ED, Spd, Rec, & Stun.

Also, remember that abusing Variable Power Pools is the quick, shiny path to power-gaming glory.
I had a long, long run of Champions and other Hero-adjunct games. Actually I think most of my GMing time was in Fantasy Hero.
Mostly other folks in my universe ran Champions but yeah, I played the hell out of it. The GURPS years that followed were a direct result of my Hero years!

If math-phobe me can handle GURPS, anyone can.
