Oh, I’m not quite as “extreme” as you, but close. I got Libertarian Socialist. To be honest, though, I think some of the questions were poorly worded. I bet with a little more precision, I’d walk back just a touch on the Libertarian axis towards authority. Or maybe it was the Societal axis that tipped me in that direction overall? Not sure.
I am deeply suspicious of this one in that I support government regulation, gun control, universal healthcare, a strong U.N. and somehow I still scored very high on the Libertarian axis.
It correctly called me a libertarian socialist. What I call a left Libertarian. I thought that I had more complex answers for many questions than the quiz allowed for.
Curt Thompson Likewise! I have a feeling that axis is focused more on social issues in this particular quiz (e.g., legalizing drugs, consensual crime).
“Liberty (State)
Those with higher Liberty scores believe in strong civil liberties. They tend to support democracy and oppose state intervention in personal lives. Note that this refers to civil liberties, not economic liberties.”
This is why. They’ve separated the whole free market portion of the Libertarian platform into another category. So their use of the term Libertarian doesn’t match with that of the Libertarian Party.

The questions — to me, at least — felt pretty all-or-nothing, so I can see how results might tend toward extremes.
That, or I’m just more radical than I thought I was.
I’d love to see how 20-year-old me would have scored on this.

Here are mine. Slightly less of everything than you, Mark:
I’m 91.7% Communist, 84% pacifist, 77.5% libertarian (not Libertarian; an antonym for authoritarianism), and 89.9% progressive

About what I expected. I feel I’m centrist on most topics.

We line up pretty close, Delsing! Off by just a couple points on each one.
