“What is the game you are most likely to give to others?”

Burning Wheel. I have literally given copies of the game to people as gifts or freebies at Gameday. I was musing on the BW community just a few weeks ago about how to give away my fourth printing, i.e., have a fun contest or something.

Aside: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Burning_Wheel
luke crane the Wikipedia entry for BW is super out-of-date.

  1. < ![CDATA[I think I need to become closer friends with you 😀 Seems like this game goes for far too much on the secondary market. I assume it's either out of print or between printings.]]>

  2. Moe Tousignant The main game (Now Burning Wheel Gold) is always in print, so you should always be able to get it at list price ($25US $35US) from http://www.burningwheel.com.

The supplements tend to go in and out of print. The new Burning Wheel Codex is in print, and I have a feeling it will probably stay that way, but you never know.

  4. Okay I think I’ve just been looking for Burning Wheel and not Burning Wheel Gold. That may be my problem.

I’ve heard many things about this system both good and bad and have been very cuirous to check it out.
