  1. I do disagree with Ron here, but only because I’ve heard so many black voices say how excellent it is to have iconic characters recast as PoC or women. Marvel has been steadily introducing both original and race-flipped minority characters lately, in pretty much equal numbers. For every black Cap there’s a Blue Marvel.

    It’s important that Ron is quoting Jerry on this, but Ron is a white dude who has a point he wants to make and he’s found somebody who agrees with him. Great! That’s not the sum total of black experience, though, and there are as many different opinions among geeks of color as there are among white nerds.

  2. Cam Banks Absolutely. Ron’s is one opinion among many, but it’s a thought-provoking one. I didn’t know the perspective he’s espousing was even an option. Also, “Heroes for Ghosts” looks really cool.
