Other than my Burning Wheel hangouts game last week (and again this Friday!), I’m having a very trad, ADD (not AD&D) couple of weeks in RPG hobby land. Started off by continuing to make my way through 1974’s Empire of the Petal Throne, then grabbed PDF copies of the Gloranthan Classics reprints in sweaty anticipation of the release of Classic RuneQuest, and then spent some downtime today stumbling onto some nifty resources for GM’ing GURPS. Yes, GURPS.
All things that I really should not be doing, as the BW game has my hands full as it is — I still haven’t sat down to re-read BWG, which is something I really need to do. (If only Luke would release a PDF…)
I think this is what happens when you have a lot of time to think about RPGs, but not a lot of time to actually play them. (I.e., “RPG.net”.)
