Favourite RPG publisher
Easy answer: Burning Wheel HQ. They are the best, full stop. Best games, best people, best convention, etc.
Hard answer: If we can fold time and space for this topic, I would then say Chaosium around 1983, just before they sold off RQ to Avalon Hill. Seriously, look at their lineup back then: RuneQuest. Pendragon, Call of Cthulhu (before it consumed the hobby), Stormbringer, Superworld, Ringworld, Elfquest… all with unparalleled production values. And you had Different Worlds, one of the best independent RPG magazines ever.
I’ve been a broken record about this, but I hope to see the company regain it’s old status now that Stafford is back.
