  1. I asked Shane Ivey way back when how the rules were going to be set up and, at least at one point pre-development, the plan was split BRP/GUMSHOE. Or I think it was Shane who told me that; if he sees this and I’m wrong, sorry!

Anyway, the GUMSHOE thing obviously got dropped, at least from the rulebook. There’s a beta document floating around somewhere. Very barebones but at least has the seeds of changes in there. It’s just been so long since I’ve read it that I can’t recall.

  3. I know Simon has his folks working on a 1960s Delta Green Gumshoe book. I don’t know if they’ll do more for the setting than that.

I also have hopes and fears about this, as Delta Green was pretty much the only Cthulhu game I ever actually really played and actually really liked. But I’m not sure I trust it to be recaptured.

OTOH, I had worries about Unknown Armies 3, and the playtest is proving me wrong on it.

  5. Richard Hughes I’m really curious to see what happens with BRP now that Stafford and Moon Design are at Chaosium’s helm. Will the tweaks in CoC7 dominate, or will the RQ6 work TDM did prevail? Or some combo?

Arc Dream can do whatever, though; this is their own thing.
